In our work as Schmuckeremiten, we spent over a year talking to the inhabitants of the settlement in the Edelsteingarten in Pulheim, capturing their dreams of everyday life and living and weaving them into a dense soundscape.

The performance „Safari“ takes a look behind the scenes of the estate and negotiates two opposing concepts of life, entangles them in one situation:
Owning a home,
being tied to a place,
paying off the loan.
On the other hand
the avoidable freedom of so-called „digital nomadism“.
